Where to find the Copy option
The copy feature is built directly into each list card. Look for the purple Copy / Split icon in the top-right corner of the list card. There is no three-dot menu (⋯) for this action.
Step 1: Go to your lists page
- Go to Word Lists and open either the Custom Word Lists tab or the Lists Assigned to Students tab.
Step 2: Locate the list you want to copy
- Browse or search for the list you want to reuse.
Step 3: Click the Copy / Split icon
- On the list card, click the purple document icon in the top-right corner.
- This opens the Copy / Split options.
Step 4: Choose "Copy List"
- Select Copy to duplicate the entire list.
- A new version of the list will be created using the same words and structure.
Step 5: Rename and edit (optional)
- After copying, you can rename the list, add or remove words, and adjust lessons or groupings.
- The original list remains unchanged.
Step 6: Save and use
- Once saved, the copied list can be assigned to students, edited further, or used as the base for new lists.
Optional: Splitting a list
From the same Copy / Split icon, you can also divide a large list into smaller lists — helpful for weekly lessons or differentiated instruction.
