If you need to clean up your custom word list, removing a word in Vocab Loco is quick and easy.

How to Delete a Word from a Custom Word List

Step 1: Go to Word Lists

• From your Teacher Dashboard, click Word Lists in the left sidebar.

Step 2: Open the Custom Word Lists tab

• At the top of the page, select the Custom Word Lists tab.

Step 3: Open the group and select the word list

• Find the group that contains the word you want to delete.
• Click Manage Words on the group card.
• In the left sidebar, click the word list that contains the word.

Step 4: Delete the word

• On the far right of the word row, click the red trash can icon.

Step 5: Confirm the removal

• A confirmation pop-up appears. Click Yes to permanently delete the word.
• The word is removed instantly and your word list updates automatically.

? Pro Tip: If you are cleaning up for a new term, delete outdated words and keep only the vocabulary you plan to reuse.

Q: Can I recover a deleted word?
A: No. Once you confirm the deletion, the word is permanently removed from the word list.
