Vocab Loco lets you create handwriting practice worksheets directly from any custom word list. These worksheets help students build print and cursive writing skills while reinforcing their vocabulary.
How to Generate Handwriting Worksheets
Step 1: Go to Word Lists
- From your Teacher Dashboard, click Word Lists in the left sidebar.
Step 2: Open the Custom Word Lists tab
- At the top of the page, select the Custom Word Lists tab.
Step 3: Open the group
- Find the group that contains the word list you want to use.
- Click Manage Words on the group card.
- Your word lists appear in the left sidebar.
Step 4: Open the word list options menu
- In the left sidebar, find the word list you want to use.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) to the right of the word list name.
Step 5: Select Handwriting
- In the dropdown menu, click Handwriting.
Step 6: Adjust your settings
- Font Style: Choose AbcPrint for print handwriting or AbcCursive for cursive.
- Font Size: Small, Medium, or Large to match your students' needs.
- Case: Uppercase or lowercase words.
- Arrows: Turn on or off arrows and numbers that guide stroke order.
- Alignment: Left, Center, or Right depending on your layout preference.

Step 7: Generate and print
- Click Generate PDF to instantly create your printable worksheet.
- Open the file and print it for your students.
