If your school uses a content filter or firewall, you may need to whitelist certain domains and IP addresses to ensure Vocab Loco, Book Taco, and Book Nacho function properly. Without these entries, some features may be blocked, causing pages not to load or preventing students from logging in.
How to Whitelist Vocab Loco Domains and IP Addresses
Why whitelisting is important
Our platforms connect through secure domains and servers. If any of these are blocked by your school's network filter, images, activities, or login pages may fail to load. Whitelisting allows these connections so teachers and students can use all features without interruption.
Domains to whitelist
Add the following domains to your school's safe list:
app.vocabloco.comvocabloco.combooktaco.combooknacho.comapp.booktaco.comapp.booknacho.com
IP addresses to whitelist
These IPs are associated with our main application servers:
67.227.154.166— Book Taco67.227.157.88— Book Nacho67.227.157.88— Vocab Loco
⚠️ Note: Some schools prefer to whitelist by domain only, as IP addresses can change over time. If your filter allows domain-based whitelisting, we recommend prioritizing domains.
Next steps
- Share this list with your school's IT department or network administrator.
- Ask them to update the content filter and firewall settings to allow these domains and IPs.
- Test access by logging in as both a teacher and a student to confirm all features are working.
