Vocab Loco includes a Games Page where students can play fun arcade-style games as a reward for completing their vocabulary activities. As a teacher, you have full control over which games are available and how many games students can play per day.
How to Turn Games On or Off
What are these games?
The Games Page features a large library of arcade and casual games — completely separate from the vocabulary activities in your word lists. These are free-play games that students can access as a break or reward. You can control which games are visible and set a daily limit on how many games each student can play.
Step 1: Go to Games and Coins
- From your Teacher Dashboard, click Games and Coins in the left sidebar.
Step 2: Open Game Settings
- In the Game Settings section, you will see a list of all available games.
Step 3: Toggle each game on or off
- Toggle each game to Yes to enable it or No to disable it.
- Games set to No will be hidden for all students.
- Changes apply automatically — no further action needed.
? Pro Tip: You can also set a daily game limit to control how much free-play time students get. This keeps games as a reward without letting them become a distraction.
Q: Are these the same as the vocabulary games in my word lists? A: No. The Games Page features general arcade games available as a reward. Vocabulary activities like Connect It! and Word Pop are managed separately inside your word list assignments.
