Manage Grades gives teachers a full view of student activity scores in one place. You can filter by date, activity type, student, or group — and edit or delete individual grades when needed.
Step 1 — Access Manage Grades
Log in to your teacher account and go to Manage Grades in the sidebar navigation. The page loads with a filter panel at the top and an empty results table below.
Step 2 — Filter the results
Use the filters to narrow down the grades you want to see:
- Date range — set a start and end date to view grades submitted within a specific period.
- Filter by — select an activity type or a specific module. You can filter by all vocabulary, spelling, typing, writing, or special activities, or choose a single activity from the dropdown.
- Filter mode — if you have student groups set up, choose to filter by students or by groups.
- Select Group — when filtering by groups, pick a specific group or leave it set to All.
- Student(s) — select one or more students, or leave blank to include all students.
After setting your filters, click Filter to load the results. Use Skip to Results to jump directly to the table.
Step 3 — Read the results table
The results table shows one row per grade entry with the following columns:
- Student — the student's name.
- List Group — the word list group the activity belongs to.
- Word List — the specific word list used.
- Module — the activity type (for example, Spelling Test or Vocabulary Match).
- Submitted — the date the activity was completed.
- Grade — the score the student received.
- Action — buttons to edit or delete that grade entry.
Step 4 — Edit a grade
To update a student's grade, click the edit button in the Action column for that row. A dialog will open showing the student's name and current grade. Enter the new grade — a number between 0 and 100 — and click Save. The table updates immediately.
Step 5 — Delete a grade
To delete a single grade, click the delete button in the Action column. A confirmation dialog will appear asking you to type confirm before the deletion is processed. This step prevents accidental deletions. Once confirmed, the grade and all related data are permanently removed.
To delete multiple grades at once, check the box next to each row you want to remove. A Delete Selected button will appear at the top of the table showing how many entries are selected. Click it and confirm the action to delete all selected grades in one step.
Grade deletions are permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you have selected the correct entries before confirming.
