As a Super User, you can move students from one teacher's classroom to another — individually or in bulk — without losing any of their progress, coins, or learning history. This is useful when reorganizing classes at the start of a term, correcting initial roster assignments, or responding to schedule changes.
Note: Moving a student preserves all their data — mastered words, test history, game coins, and achievements remain intact. Only the classroom assignment and grade are updated.
Step 1: Go to Move Students
- From your Super User Dashboard, click Students in the left sidebar.
- Click Move Students to open the student transfer page.
Step 2: Filter and select students
- Use the Classroom and Grade dropdowns to filter the student list, or type a name in the search field to find a specific student.
- Check the box next to each student you want to move. Use Select All to select everyone shown at once.
- Click Next Step when your selection is complete.
Pro Tip: To move a single student quickly, click the Move button directly on their row — a modal will appear where you can choose the destination classroom and grade without going through Step 2.
Step 3: Set the destination classroom
- In Step 2, your selected students are grouped by their current teacher. For each group, choose:
- Classroom — the destination teacher.
- Grade — the grade the students will be assigned to in their new classroom.
- If you selected students from multiple teachers, each teacher's group has its own destination form — configure each one before proceeding.
Step 4: Confirm the move
- Click Move Students Group. A confirmation dialog will ask: "Are you sure you want to move the selected students?"
- Click Yes, move group! to complete the transfer. All selected students are moved to their new classroom immediately.
Q: Can I undo a move? A: There is no automatic undo. If a student was moved by mistake, use the Move Students page again to transfer them back to their original classroom.
