Vocab Loco offers Ready-Made Weekly Lesson Plans that make organizing instruction easier than ever. These preset plans are designed to spread lessons out across the week (Monday–Friday), but they're fully customizable so you can tailor them to your classroom’s needs.

✅ What Is the Weekly Lesson Plan?

The Weekly Lesson Plan feature organizes your chosen modules by weekday. You can:

  • Start with a ready-made plan using our pre-built templates.

  • See your current plan at a glance in a visual Monday–Friday format.

  • Adjust which modules are assigned and on what days—so the plan fits your classroom schedule.

➡️  Note: Each module appears on its start day only (Monday–Friday). End dates are not shown.

How to View and Edit Your Weekly Plan

You can view and customize your plan in just a few clicks:

1. Go to Assign Word List

From your teacher panel, click the Assign Word List section.

2. Click Edit on the group you'd like to manage

3. Navigate to Step 3: Modules

Scroll down to see a list of all module types (Vocabulary, Spelling, Typing, Writing, Special).

4. Turn modules on or off and choose available days

This allows you to control when each activity begins and how it appears in your Weekly Lesson Plan.

Previewing the Weekly Lesson Plan

Click the “View Current Weekly Lesson Plan” button to see how your selections are visually distributed from Monday to Friday. This preview helps you quickly confirm that lessons are balanced throughout the week.

Pro Tip

Start with one of our Ready-Made Plans like:

  • Spelling Rules (Lower Grades)

  • Vocab Program (Grades 5+)

…then make small adjustments by toggling modules on/off or adjusting available days. It’s fast, flexible, and teacher-friendly!
