How to set up Vocab Loco and ClassLink OneRoster rostering?

A: Yes—thanks so much for pointing this out! Book Taco and Vocab Loco both require ClassLink OneRoster rostering to be set up in order for SSO to work properly. We totally understand how confusing this can be, especially since there are multiple rostering options within ClassLink and we don’t have access to view your district’s Admin Portal to help guide the process.

Here’s what needs to happen:

  1. Your ClassLink Administrator must add the Vocab Loco app in ClassLink.

  2. They must request OneRoster rostering to be enabled for your schools.

  3. Once the request is submitted, we’ll receive it and activate the connection.

Note ClassLink Schools

If ClassLink is set up correctly with OneRoster rostering, all teachers with matching email domains will automatically appear in the Super User’s dashboard.

To assign seats:

  1. Go to Add Teachers.

  2. Select from the list of available ClassLink-teachers that match the superuser's email domain.

  3. Click “Add Teacher” next to the ones you’d like to include.

  4. Once done, click “Add Complete.”

This process allows your School Leader (Super User) to decide exactly which teachers will use the student seats from your plan—no extra setup needed!
